I want to announce a new resource, as well as make a shameless plug, for small group Bible studies and Sunday School classes.  It’s a DVD providing four 15-minute sessions about the book of Psalms.  It is part of the new Deepening Life Together video series published by Baker Books, LifeTogether and Lamplighter Media.

Although I have not viewed the many other DVDs that are now available in the series (on topics like Acts, Ephesians, Fruit of the Spirit, Gospel of John, James, Parables, Paul, Praying God’s Way, Promises of God, Revelation, Romans, Ruth and Sermon on the Mount), this one on Psalms features some excellent teaching.  The host and primary teacher is Mark Strauss and there are short segments from Tremper Longman, Daniel Watson, Craig Keener, Jim Smith, and a number of voices from Biola/Talbot like Joanne Jung, Richard Rigsby, David Talley and some guy named Ken Way.  I should add that other DVDs feature additional Biola/Talbot faculty like Ken Berding, Ben Shin and Erik Thoennes.
